Amaury Suárez is a Cuban-born painter and sculptor whose vibrant career spans over four decades across Cuba, Spain, and the United States.
Born in Havana in 1960, he began his formal training at the prestigious San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts and later earned his degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Arts in Havana.
Known for his expressive use of color and deeply musical visual language, Suárez has exhibited his work in more than 50 solo shows and numerous group exhibitions throughout Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean. In addition to his creative work, he is a respected educator, having taught drawing and color theory in both Cuba and Spain, and co-founded the Collage Art Center in Spain.
His contributions also extend to environmental design and cultural consultancy, with notable projects including public murals and institutional collaborations. Now based in United States, his works are held in prominent public and private collections worldwide including those of former U.S. President Bill Clinton and several cultural institutions across Cuba and Spain.
With a deep commitment to both artistic expression and education, Amaury Suárez continues to leave a lasting mark on the contemporary art scene.
